At the last meeting we discussed the Spectrum of cameras available. Some of that information will be added here.

4 people have volunteered to be an "Equipment Group" which will collect and present equipment information to the club, and advise the club on equipment purchases. As of now they are: Damian Sanroman, Terry King, Bahir Skinner and Abdulghafoor Abdulhaleem (Known to us as "AG")

What are the important differences between different types of cameras??


Image Quality - The larger size of image sensors in DSLRs compared to "Point and Shoot" cameras allows for larger pixel sizes: Each pixel can gather more light. So, DSLRs are generally able to be used at a faster ISO (more light-sensitive) which will lead to faster shutter speeds and less noise (grainy effects, sometimes with multi colors).
